What is a Better Buildings Consultant?
A Better Buildings Consultant is an Elmhurst member who has proven competency across multiple energy, retrofit or building related disciplines. This certification brings your skills together in an exciting, marketable way! Showcase the diverse services you offer and demonstrate how you can transform buildings for the better.
Who is Eligible?
Elmhurst’s Better Buildings Consultant Certification Scheme is available exclusively for those who have more than one active accreditation/competency with Elmhurst. W recommend taking a look at the full eligibility criteria for the Better Buildings Consultant Certification Scheme before booking your test.
About the Test
To demonstrate that you have the relevant skills and expertise to become a Better Buildings Consultant, you will be required to successfully complete and pass, the Competency Test. The test is available online, and can be accessed at any time. It has been developed to evaluate your professional skills and knowledge, ensuring they align with the trusted quality standards expected of a Better Buildings Consultant.
You will be given 3 attempts to pass the test, where you will be required to achieve an 80% pass rate. If you do not meet this standard, you will not be able to proceed and you will be given a full refund equal to the value that you’ve paid for the Competency Test.
Once you have successfully passed the Competency Test, you will be sent a link to the Better Buildings Consultant Certification Scheme application form. Completion of this will enable you to join the Better Buildings Consultant Certification Scheme.
You will be given 3 attempts at the test and must meet a 80% pass rate prior to moving on.
If you have attempted the test 3 times and have been unable to pass, then unfortunately you will be unable to proceed any further, and you will be given a full refund equal to the value that you have paid for the Competency Test.
The Better Buildings Consultant scheme is designed to recognise those who have multiple active accreditations/competencies as part of their Elmhurst membership. We would strongly recommend checking the eligibility criteria first before paying for the Competency Test
