Alongside your personal/contact information, you will need to upload:
- Proof of identity,
- Certificate of Qualification.
Once you submit your application, the Elmhurst accreditation team will process it and get in touch if any information is missing.
One your application is processed, you will receive a welcome email with login instructions to the Elmhurst members area; this will provide you with access to our online software, welcome packs and relevant guidance documents.
Elmhurst aims to process all applications within 7-10 working days.

The fees to use the software are as follows:
RdSAP Mobile (RdSAP GO): £1 per energy assessment submitted (alongside normal lodgement fees).
RdSAP Online: Free to use (normal lodgement fees apply).
Condition Report Go: £1 per submission (normal lodgement fees apply).
Occupancy Assessment Tool: £5.25 + VAT (this charge will be applied upon report generation).

Yes. Elmhurst members have access to a range of free and 10% discounted CPD, in the form of technical bulletins, training courses, on demand webinars, the Energy Talks podcast, the Energy Matters magazine, and much more.
Yes. You can submit your application to join multiple Elmhurst schemes, as long as you hold the relevant qualifications.
Better yet, if you are a member of two or more certification schemes, or one certification scheme and one competency scheme, you may be eligible to become an Elmhurst Better Buildings Consultant.
It is important that assessors maintain a good level competency in order to deliver quality assessments to homeowners. If you have spent time away from the industry, you may be required to undergo refresher training, or retraining, to ensure that you are up to date with industry changes.

TrustMark is the quality mark within the PAS 2035 framework. It delivers an Industry Code of Conduct, a Consumer Charter and a framework of technical standards for all retrofit professionals which would include Retrofit Assessors.
As part of the application process to become an accredited Retrofit Assessor with Elmhurst, our team will use the information you provide to automatically set you up on the TrustMark Business Portal. Following this you will receive a welcome email directly from TrustMark which will provide you with your TrustMark licence number and relevant login details.
