Elmhurst launch industry first virtual environment training for “Room in the Roof”
Elmhurst Energy have launched a first of it’s kind virtual environment training, aimed at helping Domestic Energy Assessors and Retrofit Assessors understand “Room in the Roof” for RdSAP 9.94 assessments, a common audit challenge.
An immersive learning experience like no other
This exciting new training has been developed in collaboration with Virtual Environment and VR specialists to create an interactive and immersive learning experience – a first for the energy assessment training industry. Learners can freely explore a 360 degree, Room in the Roof virtual environment, learning through a combination of interactive information points, instructional videos and guidance from our expert technical support team. No specialist equipment is needed to complete this course, just a laptop or computer!

Why focus on “Room in the Roof”
“Room in the Roof” is a complex aspect of Domestic Energy Assessment with multiple variables that need to be considered when entering data for RdSAP 9.94 assessments. “Room in the Roof” is not considered a typical aspect of a domestic property and can be difficult to identify if you haven’t come across one before. This training will help assessors to experience a “Room in the Roof” first hand, giving them the practical experience they need to feel confident in identifying, assessing and documenting the correct information for RdSAP 9.94 assessments.
