This online instructor-lead course is designed to support newly qualified Retrofit Coordinators in navigating the practical aspects of Retrofit Coordination, helping them to apply essential skills to real-world retrofit projects.

This course is fully on demand and provides a full ABBE Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings. This is an essential qualification for retrofit, construction and housing professionals, to ensure they are able to deliver PAS 2035 compliant retrofit projects.

A Better Buildings Consultant is an Elmhurst member who has proven competency across multiple energy, retrofit or building related disciplines. Elmhurst’s Better Buildings Consultant scheme is available exclusively for Elmhurst members who have more than one active service offering, contributing towards making a building better in many ways. e.g. providing an energy performance certificate, retrofit assessment and an air tightness report on a building.

This three hour session will cover the use of Design SAP for Retrofit modelling, with a detailed look at the areas where SAP offers extended data entry compared to RdSAP. Examples and interactive workshops will be provided.

The domestic ventilation training and assessment has been designed to provide the necessary skills in testing, commissioning, handover, servicing and fault-finding of ventilation systems in accordance with the latest Minimum Technical Competency documents (MTC). Completion of this course will satisfy the entry requirements to join the Elmhurst Ventilation Scheme.
